Public bug reported:

I have a HP Elite 6930p (Intel 4500MHD graphics, Intel Wifi Link
5300AGN). The only way I get it to boot jaunty is by disabling acpi.
I've also added pnpbios=off because the kernel was spewing errors that
it could not handle the bios and that I should update it to the newest
version (I've got already the newest one installed) but with pnpbios
enabled it still boots

What's other information I can provide to help you solve this bug
