By "screenshots" I meant pictures of the actual interface, showing the
effects of the actual patch. :-) But if you're agreed that the patch is
inappropriate, that's no longer necessary.

Sorry, I'm not sure what mpt's 'after' is. After scrollbars or after
the proposed layout rearrangement by Bill?
I talked to Paul some more about this, and here's what we were thinking
as a scrollbar-less solution.
Move the Telephone stuff to a Telephone tab.
Add 'Home Address' and 'Work Address'
could somebody reply to mpt's request for a screenshot?

my comments are similar to bug #28805 - I agree that just adding
scrollbars is not a preferred solution. I believe the default layout
could be changed to be more horizontal by adding another column(s) on
the right side and moving approprite fields to the new columns. i.e.
Moving "Instant Messaging'
thank you for your bug report, could you open a bug upstream about that,
those scrollbar adding changes are not really optimal, is that something
you really need in stock ubuntu?
