I believe this issue has been resolved. I do use a heavily modified
.screenrc that, I suppose, could mask the problem. I doubt it though.

made any changes, aside from adding some aliases, to my .bashrc either. I

4.00.03jw4, and the Ubuntu screen-profiles.
