So no solution here...
Where did you get the 2.6.28-8 kernel from?
Kind regards,
Ronald

Hello
I removed all the kernel 2.6.28-8 :
sudo apt-get remove linux-headers-2.6.28-8 linux-headers-2.6.28-8-generic
linux-image-2.6.28-8-generic --purge
reboot the PC
install the kernel 2.6.28-8 :
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-2.6.28-8 linux-
headers-2.6.28-8-generic linux-image-2.6.28-8
wer jaunty kernel - without doing a full
upgrade to this Alpha OS version now? Then I can test the newer kernel on
the hard drive.
Kind regards,
Ronald

Hi Ronald,
What happens if you don't pass any kernel parameters when you try to
boot (ie remove the "notsc" and "clocksource=hpet" options).
Also, care to test the latest pre-release f

Also, care to test the latest pre-release for Jaunty 9.04 (currently

to know if this
