Since this report have a long time without activity, could you check (if is possible) in latest version included in Karmic if this issue is still happening? Additionally, I tried to reproduce this issue using Ubuntu Karmic (up-to-date) and everything works fine here, Thanks in advance. --

After running all updates that had come up through the night last night, totem-gstreamer no longer crashes. Movie Player application now loads and totem logo is present where video playback would normally occur, but video still does not load. After waiting approx. 5 minutes, program was exited and
