I also had the following errors and crash during the startup of amarok:

This bug report is being closed due to your last comment regarding this
being fixed by reverting to the default configuration. Unfortunately, we
cannot be sure what caused the error in the first place. For future
reference you can manage the status of your own bugs by clicking on the
current status
as in bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/302727
deleting all my personal config (.kde/share/apps/amarok and
.kde/share/config/amarok*) and restarting, gives a working amarok again.
