Using jaunty with linux-backports-modules' ath9k:

Network tested on: 802.11g WPA2-PSK

When the wifi interface isn't in promiscuous mode, broadcast packets
aren't received. No errors reported, just no broadcast. This means that
one can make outgoing connections but can't reliably receive incoming
connections.

Turning on promiscuous mode results in these packets being received
again.

Steps to reproduce:
* Connect to a WiFi AP.
* Ping the network broadcast address from another machine (wired or wireless, 
assuming the AP is bridging).
* Run tcpdump on the ath9k target machine, both with and without the "-p" flag.
