I collected this latest information as my keyboard went from not working
to working mode. Ignore the noise about the external CD burner, as
that's unrelated to the keyboard issue.

I am using an HP 2710p tablet PC, Ubuntu 8.10, kernel 2.6.27-11-generic
(SMP). When I flip the tablet up to use it and then flip it back to use

Unfortunately, it seems that this bug is still in the wild for Lucid, as
I ran into it earlier today. The next time it happens I will try to
collect information using apport _while_ the issue is occurring (eg: I
will use an on-screen keyboard to run the necessary commands).

Hi Andruk,
This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are
available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/lucid.
