Public bug reported: The flash location http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz is no longer valid URL on adobes servers.
First part of this bug is that the installer doesn't pick up the "HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found" status code and report this error. If you look at my second command trying to re-install it APT thinks that becuase the .deb file was downloaded and run that the package was successfully install. This isn't the case.
