I've just upgraded to jaunty from intrepid. After installing the proprietary 
nvidia drivers ("version 180"), the image was displaced be about 10 pixel the 
next time I logged in. By changing the resolution with "Nvidia X Server 
Settings", the problem can be solved for this session. (Occurs again after 
logging out and in again)
The error doesn't occur with KDE or Xfce. I also haven't noticed it when I 
didn't use the prop. driver. So, I guess that this has something to do with gdm 
and the proprietary nvidia driver, but can't really tell the package.
