Hi, thanks for taking the time to report this. To request a backport a bug needs to be raised against the hardy-backports product, not the ubuntu product: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports#request-new-packages I'm closing this bug as it doesn't affect the latest version of Ubuntu
