Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
Since upgrading to Intrepid (8.10) from Hardy (8.04) Evolution randomly forgets pop3 passwords. I've tried the following with no success: * telling Evolution to "forget" passwords and then re-entering them when prompted * deleting passwords in "accessories>passwords and encryption keys" and then re-entering them when prompted * re-installing evolution * completely un-installing (deleting .evolution/ and .gconf/apps/evolution/) and then re-installing evolution * crying * praying I've posted here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1014382 and have gotten few responses and a couple of commiserates but no solution. I'm still relatively new to Ubuntu so if more info about the issue or my system is needed please let me know.
