But what I'm trying to say is that there is such an option already - you
select it at the CD boot loader screen, on the menu labelled F5
Accessibility, and when you do that the installer will honour it.
What's wrong with that?

The design we follow is that you can request this at the boot loader
screen and then it's honoured by Ubiquity. Aside from any other bugs you
may be suffering from, why is this design inadequate - that is, why do
you need a duplicate question asked in Ubiquity when the preferences set
in the boot
Colin, we install a lot of desktops, laptops meant for use by blind here
in Braille Without Borders. And it goes without saying that I don't use
accessible install for these installations. so we felt it would great to
have such an option

on the installation. It is in the interest of blind and low vision users
who are installing Ubuntu gnu/linux on there machines.

An option to make ubiquity accessible itself?
Or an otion to enable GNOME assistive technologies from the first session once
installed and/or executred from the live session?
