For me amd64-agp is loaded alone, and direct rendering works, without having to rename files or blacklist modules. The APIC errors occur for me too. They seem to be closely connected to the DRI; they don't appear under normal use, but upon running glxgears I'll immediately receive 5 of them. --

@Tormod Well, I'm not able to remove the sis_agp module once it's been loaded during the LiveCD boot, even after stopping gdm and manually removing all other modules related to video (radeon, drm, amd64_agp) - agpgart cannot be removed either, but that makes sense because it depends on sis_agp.
