After my tests I can confirm this bug. The lshal | grep
power_management reports power_management.can_suspend = false. I also
get standby disk for cat /sys/power/state. However echo standby
/sys/power/state says bash: /sys/power/state: Permission denied.
On Windows XP the suspend to ram works.
Do you have this problem in Jaunty?
