No, I don't. But I have NoScript, and disabling it did it.
Strangely, I had already put twiter.com in its whitelist, but it wasn't
enough. I'm not sure where to report this, but at least for me it's
definitely NOT an Ubuntu bug.

Try opening firefox in safe mode, and see if it works for you. If it
does, enable your addons one at a time to find out which one is the
culprit.
You should also in this case set this report to Invalid.
