Public bug reported: Sound does not work by default on the latest Mac Mini (model MacMini3,1 -- the one with 5 USB ports).
Workaround: add the following line to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf options snd-hda-intel model=imac24 I'm filing this bug hoping to get out-of-box support for sound in the Mini.
