don't think anything could have changed since i couldn't log in and
hence not get any updates.. at least i can tell you that everything
works on the newly installed 9.04

the bug is low importance because it happens to 2 users so far and has
not enough informations to be worked in any way, that's probably not a
gdm bug though, gdm changed a little over this year and is not
responsive for session passwords out of the keyring unlock when not
using the autologin option
I Have the same problem! It occured to me after upgrading to 9.04. Before in
8.10 I had auto login activated and set the keyring password to empty to
prevent evolution to bother me each time to enter the password.
Now I can't log on to my pc anymore as desciribed by Simon! Find this quite an

How can I debug this error in gdm?
This continues to fail and I still can't access another user of Ubuntu.
I don't also see any collaboration for your part to find the reason of the
problem and to solve it.
