I am actually on the Ubuntu Karmic live CD right now at my school with
the WPA2 Enterprise wireless access points, and I am afraid that I still
have the same problem, it refuses to connect to the network, and in the
logs it just shows it associating then disconnected right after.

it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try

I can also confirm this - ath5k works with WPA2 personal but *not* with
WPA2 Enterprise. In fact if you try to add a new wireless network by
clicking on the NetworkManager icon --> Create new Wireless Network, you
don't even get the option of WPA2 Enterprise in the Wireless security
drop down menu.
this also happens with other distros, such as arch linux, with both the
ath5k driver and the ath_hal driver
