Public bug reported:
In OpenOffice (3.0.1--7ubuntu1intrepid1) I cannot even load documents
from a samba server.
In 3.0.1-5 I could load documents from samba shares but not store (which works
well on 2.4.1).
Now I cannot even load documents from network shares.
This renders OpenOffice 3.x in production environments pretty useless.
My setup:
Workstation: Ubuntu 8.10, OpenOffice 3.0.1-7
Server: Ubuntu 8.10, samba 3.2.3
Just to make sure: Storage and retrieval from samba shares works with
gedit. So it IS OpenOffice.
Please look into this and fix it.
