No you've misinterpreted what I have said, there was an issue with the
Jaunty Alpha 6 release as I couldn't get the themes to install however I now
can with the Beta release of Ubuntu 9.04. Its not the case of making
mistakes as I followed the exact same procedure each time.

themes has nothing to do with the gnome-desktop package. Ampache-Themes
are not available at gnome-look.org for download and they have never
been available for download at gnome-look.org. The only place that you
can download

Thank you for you bug report. I am a little confused. Themes for
Ampache are not available from gnome-look.org. Themes for Amapche are
only available from https://svn.ampache.org. Ampache-themes can not be
customised unless you edit the CSS, there is no control/border section
