new bug report and I'll keep this one open for the original reporter to
provide a backtrace.
You also need to make sure you have the following packages installed
when obtaining your backtrace: libstdc++6-dbgsym,

I took the decision to change this bug status because with the latest update
totem is closing like a rocket :-)
I do not know which package did that but i suspect python2.6
