In Empathy, when making a call, you can open a sidebar, and select video
settings from the dropdown menu and change the values for contrast,
brightness, etc, but you can't revert back to default. It's hard to get
things back to just right, and it affects ALL applications that use
the webcam!
p.s.
This also is a problem in the mouse settings for Ubuntu, although i'm
not sure the package name for that
