Public bug reported: Buy a new graphic card Place it in your PC case Start Ubuntu > Ubuntu automatically deals with it
Buy a 2nd hard drive Place it in your PC case Start Ubuntu > Ubuntu doesn't even know there is a new hard drive Then user has to google its problem and people will say him to format the new drive with gparted then to key strange things like "sudo mkdir...", "sudo chmod 777...", to modify the /etc/fstab file... GOOD LUKE ! Ideally, a graphical tool (gparted ?) should care about all that : disk formatting & mounting. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Setting a 2nd hard drive should be automatic (or at least graphical) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351571 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
