Public bug reported:

Hi,

I just updated from 8.10 to 9.04 beta and I am seeing "ipw2200: Firmware
error detected. Restarting." in dmesg.

My wireless card under 8.10 would constantly drop out and disconnect me
from my 802.11 b/g/n WPA2 encrypted network. I have two laptops (
Thinkpad x40 & x41 ) that use this same card and both show this problem.

So far ( a few hours at most ) I have had better throughput bandwidth
wise and better connectivity ( I'm not seeing network manager trying to
re-associate every 10 or so minutes ). However the device itself is
resetting every time this happens resetting every socket going over that
interface ( very annoying for downloads ).
