So the problem is somewhere between 9.4 and 9.10

Suspends fine, sleep diode lights up on case.
Test failed to auto resume, so manually resumed via keyboard.
On resume, siren sounds from speakers (single high pitched tone) and
system fails to resume. Only solution to remove DC cord and battery
before ears e
I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid) x84-64. I have this same problem,
except it is with my Thinkpad SL300. It is to my understanding that the
SL series is not using Thinkpad firmware, but Lenovo firmware.
