I have tried in vain to reproduce the bug! It seems to be working
perfectly fine now. I really don't know why. So are the puzzles of
computers to me! Thanks though for taking a look anyways.

It's not working again! Ok, so it was working earlier. I think there
is a connection between playing sound on the internet and the bug on
Rhythmbox. I was able to play the mp3 just fine after starting up the
computer without playing sound on the internet. After I watch a video
on the internet,
I was experimenting with rhythmbox --debug rhythmbox-debug.txt by
deleting different parts and came up with this:
rie-...@rie-rie:~$ rhythmbox --debug

Thanks for the report, may you please get a rhythmbox debug log by
executing rhythmbox as: rhythmbox --debug rhythmbox-debug.txt perform
the operation to reproduce the bug and attach the resulting log to the
file? it could be a missing codecs issue, but let's see, thanks.
