Public bug reported: Running Jaunty, updated today. The system apparently tried to go into automatic suspend due to running on battery power, but the suspend didn't succeed - I was left with an unresponsive system with a black screen and a blinking cursor in the top left corner. I had to manually power the system off and back on.
