I had the same problem in Gutsy and now in Jaunty. My workaround to use ncpmount until this is fixed is to; first make sure it it reported here in Launchpad, uninstall the broken ncpfs and install the working ncpfs from the previous version. I then lock the working ncpfs version until it is
