I can confirm that the rt61pci module is borked in edgy. As above, two interfaces are created(wlan0 and wmaster0), the purpose of the latter is unclear. 'iwlist wlan0 scan' will find APs, but will not accept a WEP key (by 'iwconfig wlan0 enc XXX' - iwconfig reports WEP: None) I have
