It works right.
I try change "Text encoding" before reporting bug, but I don't know it
required to delete database. In future versions it would be nice for
users to work automatically.

That's what the "Text encoding" option in the preferences dialog is for.
The Czech republic uses a different EPG encoding to everyone else.
After changing that value you will need to delete the me-tv database and
get the EPG events again.
