Ciao Leonardo, as you know I have changed the motherboard with an ASUS
M3A but if you can wait a cople of day i can take the old motherboard
M2V-mx in a spare case and turn it on with ubuntu and see the data you
need :)

I have the same motherboard with no video card.
I have problems both with vesa and openchrome driver (bug 377402)
Can you post your Xorg.0.log and xorg.conf when you are using the integrated
video card?
Which bios revision do you have?

Yes the problem does no longer exist cause it was a hardware
incompatibility between my asus m2v-mx and my ati hd 2600 pro pci-e
video card. Everything is working now. Thank you

I found that my motherboard is somehow incompatibile with my videocard,
unable to wake up from s3 state and many other problems. Asus said maybe
it's my via chipset defective. So I changed my motherboard and now
