Between libmtp 0.3.0, which is included in Jaunty, and libmtp 0.3.7, which is
included in Karmic, several changes have been made.
Can you reproduce this bug on Karmic as well?

I can't reproduce on Karmic, the Sansa recharges beautifully but I don't
have a Jaunty machine to test on anymore. I think we can consider this
fixed.
