It's 8.10. Checking it again now manually, the problem does actually not
occur. But it did earlier, so there must be a bug in there somewhere.

Which version of ubuntu are you using, because on my up to date version
of 9.04 this doesn't seem to be a problem at all (see attached
screenshot)
