flashplugin-nonfree defaults vigorously nowadays to using alsa on Feisty
and Feisty+1. The main purpose of this trick's use was to either enable
"dmix" feature or avoid having to use oss emulation. This really is not
needed anymore, and can cause more problems than the present solutions
to the original problem(s).
