hey, fortunately you're completely right - this (longstanding) bug has
been resolved in jaunty! (even though i have no idea whether it's
connected to xfce 4.6 or the engine, but that's maybe not too
important...)
i tested it with and without the modifications from bug #360175, both
seems to work f

I can't confirm this on Jaunty even with the theme you mentioned in the
comment. The selected window is clearly visible (black bg rather than
white).
I didn't test this with the theming options from bug #360175. Have you
tested this on Intrepid without those?
