Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed
in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Lucid Lynx. It won't be
fixed in previous versions of Ubuntu because the package doesn't fit the
requirements
Note that this is due to a change in GTK, downgrading that will fix it.
On the otehr hand it is much easier to make a tiny change inteh
appropriateglade file since this is just another occurrence of the bug
described in #369650.

Gnumeric to 1.8.3 or 1.8.2 under Jaunty has no effect.
