This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are

I did update to the latest BIOS. Hibernation is usually successful now.
I wish I did not see these messages that look like errors:

Have you tried updating to the most recent bios? Doing so solved the
problem for me entirely.

I have a dv5t-1200se. I got it a week ago. It has 64-bit Ubuntu 9.04,
Intel Duo T9800.
After waking up from hibernate, strange things happen about 1 out of 6 times.
1. Running programs are not restored properly.
2. Some operations cause the whole machine to hang, display stays but no input
is acc
