Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
1) Ubuntu Jaunty RC1 2) gnome-panel 2.26.0-0ubuntu6 3) After fresh install, unlock applets on right side of top panel, reorder and relock. Items should retain their order after reboot or restarting gnome-panel. 4) Items revert to original order. This happens only on the first reorder--subsequent changes are retained. I delete all panel items on the right (including divider) except clock, volume, and notification area. I put them in left-to-right order: notification, clock, volume After restart, they are ordered: clock, volme, notification Placing them in the correct order again fixes the problem. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-panel 1) Ubuntu Jaunty RC1 2) gnome-panel 2.26.0-0ubuntu6 3) After fresh install, unlock applets on right side of top panel, reorder and relock.
