I am using exactly this firmware (2.7.0.0.arm from daemonizer.de) and the "tx overflow" bug persists on a fresh Jaunty i386 install and I cannot connect to the wireless network. After some investigations I found out that it seems to be a problem of the firmware. After replacing the isl3886 in /lib/firmware with the renamed http://daemonizer.de/prism54/prism54-fw/fw- softmac/lmac_2.7.0.0.arm my Allnet 0271 works as it should. The firmware that I use now is the same as in H
