Thanks for the log. This is apparently the log that stops early because
of not enough free space. Could you please attach the ones that contain
the upgrade (or just all of them :) ? The one with the upgrade is the
one where apt-term.log has a size > 0

I took a quick look at the logs in /var/log/dist-upgrade/. It says
something about no space left on disk.
I was running low in disk space. Actually attempted the update once and
failed (update-manager refused to do the update).
After that I cleaned up HD a little. Then update-manager agreed to
