Indeed, I think the regulatory domain should be able to be changed from
NetworkManager, either letting the user choose, or picking the country
from the IP address, or even better, from the location set in the clock
applet.

EU is invalid for iw command. For valid countries see ISO 3166-2 country
codes. To set the regulatory domain to Great Britain use iw reg set
GB.

As a UK citizen - I can confirm this is a major issue. I can not connect
to several of my client networks that run on channels 12 13. Even the
iw reg set EU command doesn't seem to work for me (using broadcom-sta
driver). Can I request that this bug be given at least some priority
rather than
I agree. Users in Europe might be disappointed that they can't connect
to some wireless networks and even think the problem is in regulatory
domains.
