Public bug reported: Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose
There is a general limitation with virtualization. I need to test how a specific OS writes a disc but I do not want to test this by installing the OS on bare metal. I'm not able to burn a CD from a guest OS since both virtualbox and virt-manager (kvm) does not seem to see a detect a blank disk. It will only recognize a disk that has already been written to. Please let me know what additional information I can provide to help. ** Affects: virt-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: virtualbox-ose (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: virt-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose There is a general limitation with virtualization.
