Public bug reported:
i had a problem when updating from 8.10 to 9.04 - it's a MacBook 2,0 with rEFIt
installed on EFI
the result of what happened i did a handwrite copy and posted here:

is there some way to bypass this, or do i really need to do a fresh-install
again?
