I have no idea what it is doing.
Reassigning to odt2txt.

You
Chris,
In the system monitor also exists (directly after systemstart) a process
called ' notify osd' linked to /usr/lib/notify-osd/notify-osd this process
uses the file /home/rob/.cache/notify-osd.log (0 bytes).
This proces uses cpu when opening and closing OOo.
Perhaps it has something to do
Chris,
I have OOo upgraded to version OOO310M11 build 9399 today.
After closing the files in Calc the proces odt2txt doesn't appear in the
systemmonitor.
So it seems you have solved the bug.
With friendly greetings

Updated one laptop from 8.10 to 9.04 yesterday. A moment ago I noticed
huge CPU usage on system monitor.
odt2txt was traversing a big directory tree. Parent process number was
1. I am pretty sure I have not used any OO tools since last restart.
