Public bug reported: I'm running Kubuntu 9.04 amd64 (Jaunty). In previous versions of Kubuntu, plugging in my usb camera would cause a device notification to appear with an option to mount the camera. That no longer appears to work on my system, meaning I can't easily pull images from my camera onto my computer.
My camera is a Canon SX100IS. Plugging in the camera gives me the following in /var/log/messages: Apr 26 11:50:33 orange kernel: [10203.948015] usb 1-7: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 15 Apr 26 11:50:33 orange kernel: [10204.086346] usb 1-7: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice ...but nothing occurs after that. 'lsusb' shows that the camera is recognized: pmich...@orange:~$ lsusb Bus 001 Device 015: ID 04a9:315e Canon, Inc. If I can provide any further information, please let me know. Thanks!
