Steps to reproduce:
0. Launch xchat
1. Edit Preferences File Transfers
2. Click dropdown next to Download files to, note that it specifies
downloads
3. Choose Other..., note it pops up fileselector set to ~/.xchat2 with
downloads selected.
I agree this should be changed, but would suggest
the default download folder is /home/user/.xchat/downloads - yes it is
reproducible.
