Public bug reported:
notify-osd shows the volume of the PCM input, while Mixer applet
displays Master volume.

What happens: Mixer applet and sound notification both show different volume
levels. Which one is correct seems to vary. Occurs regardless of PulseAudio
or ALSA.
What should happen: Sound notification and Mixer applet should both
display the same, correct sound volume.
I'm rather new at reporting bugs. If there is any more information I
can provide, I would be happy to do so.
