Could you please try this?
sudo force_start=1 /etc/init.d/apport restart
Then do whatever you've been doing in Firefox to generate the crash. It
should open a new bug. Please reference this bug # in that new report.

I tried it with an empty profile, to a certain degree of success but it
still segfaults a lot.
