I actually found a way arround this without having to change the
__init__ file. Just open up your connections this way,
import kinterbasdb
customTPB = (
kinterbasdb.isc_tpb_write
+ kinterbasdb.isc_tpb_read_committed
+ kinterbasdb.isc_tpb_rec_version
)
con = kinterbasdb.co
Ok then i will close this , it can't be fixed in jaunty/karmic , just in
lucid

3.2 version from ubuntu/debian can't be used
so i see only one way to solve it :
- 3.3 to be packaged in debian unstable , i will ask damyan about this (he is
the firebird related maintainer on debian)
- create a ppa packages for ubuntu stable (lucid/karmic) like the firebird 2.1
and soon fire
